This work explores the relation of inspiration and creation: Inspiration sparks creation and creation inspires in turn. The one accompanies the other, they are closely interweaved. The installation consists of a system able to generate geometrical shapes and colors which are projected onto a sculpture. Through a camera the system perceives attendees interacting with it. The more things happen inside the field of view the more varied the generated visuals will become. Who creates and who inspires? The system or the visitors or rather both at the same time?

Diese Arbeit erkundet das Verhältnis zwischen Inspiration und Schaffen: Inspiration ermöglicht Kreation, welche wiederum als Quelle für Inspiration dient. Beide sind eng miteinander verwoben. Die Installation besteht aus einem System, das geometrische Formen und Farben generiert, die auf eine Skulptur projiziert werden. Über eine Kamera nimmt das System BesucherInnen wahr, die mit der Skulptur interagieren. Je mehr Bewegung im Sichtfeld stattfindet, umso vielgestaltigere und lebendigere Grafiken werden generiert. Wer kreiert und wer inspiriert? Das System oder die BesucherInnen – oder beide gleichermaßen?
